PUPPIES

The goal? Perfection…

Breeding is an art. Much like the sculptor, a breeder must look at the raw materials they have before them to “see” the hidden beauty within. For me that means attempting to breed the perfect (IMO) Boxer, according to the standard set by the American Boxer Club, with the purpose of creating my next show dog(s). This also means I do not always have puppies available - I breed infrequently as my focus is in the show ring.

But when I DO have puppies, many will be available for pet/companion placement. To reserve a place on the wait list, you must complete the online application. Once received, you will be advised of the most recent breeding plans, and then contacted again when puppies are on the way.

Puppies are placed to match personality with potential family, not by color, markings or gender (although gender preferences are taken into consideration). A non-refundable $500 deposit is required to “reserve” your puppy. Puppies must remain with their mother & littermates until 8 weeks old; all are wormed, vaccinated and microchipped before leaving. All companions are registered AKC limited registration and it is recommend that neutering wait until after reaching 18-24 months of age. Our $2,500 fee does not include ear cropping, though that option is available (at your expense) and will result in a delayed pickup date to allow for complete healing following ear crop procedure.

Upon pick up, the AKC registration paperwork will be reviewed with you. You will be required to sign AKC registration (also registers puppy’s microchip) which will be mailed to AKC (with your check paying required fee) transferring ownership to you. Within a few weeks, your puppy’s AKC registration certificate will be returned to your home address from the American Kennel Club, naming you as owner. You will also receive AKC Reunite tag and microchip information. You will need to use the provided information to log into your (new) account to add/edit/complete microchip information. If your puppy has been cropped, a demonstration and written instructions regarding proper aftercare & ear taping will also be provided; and you are free to return as frequently as necessary to have your pup’s ears taped by me.

Each puppy also goes home with a packet of information including breed history, health record, pedigree, recommended vaccination schedule, Aceprozamine health warning and other information.
